NUSP lauds Kabataan Partylist for the anti-No Permit, No Exam Bill

The National Union of Students of the Philippines welcomed a bill filed in Congress seeking to junk the “no permit no exam” policy imposed by colleges and universities. Filed as HB 6799 by Kabataan Partylist, the bill proposed (some detail) “We commend the Kabataan partylist for addressing such a concern by this legislation. 37th NUSP National Student Congress

The NUSP held its 37th National Students Congress last December 10-14, 2009 in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, with the theme “Continuing the NUSP Heritage: Advance a Genuine Youth and People’s Agenda in 2010 and Beyond.” National Student Congress was attended by more than 200 student council/ government officers in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The 5-day Congress provided discussions on contemporary social issues, lectures, and trainings on basic skills for effective student leadership, among others.
