PUP students decry campus militarization in the guise of disaster preparedness

Students led by the Office of the Student Regent (OSR) of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), together with student councils, mass organizations and the Sandigan ng Mag-aaral para sa Sambayanan (SAMASA), triumphed over exorbitant and dubious fees being collected by the PUP administration. In particular, the students were able to successfully junk the P1,200 memorabilia fee and the P500-worth Alumni Fee / RCBC card that contains only P10.
