Tulong Kabataan for the victims of typhoon Sendong

The Filipino youth are once again urged to extend help and support to our countrymen affected by the recent bouts of floods and landslides. In the past few weeks, the country was subjected to continuous heavy rains which caused damage to livelihood and suffering to millions. The number of affected families continues to grow as other parts of the country still experience heavy rains.

TULONG KABATAAN is a volunteer and relief network of various youth and student groups established by the National Union of Students, College Editors Guild, Anakbayan, Student Christian Movement, League of Filipino Students, KARATULA and Kabataan Party-list. We urgently appeal to all Filipino youth to aid the speedy recovery of our fellow countrymen. Youths in schools, communities, offices and so on are called on to gather and donate relief goods such as rice, canned goods, medicine, clothes, and other useful items.

  1. A warmest nationalist greetings!

Good day! I am Ruben S. Josol from Carmen, Bohol. I was a former active student leader in bohol when i was in college (Federated SSG President – Bohol College of Science and Technology System). Im currently working as a Call Center Agent in cebu but i dont want to get out from youth participation thus, im interested to join in your organization with the intention to serve the youth and fellow filipino citizen. Im very interested to be a part in your advocacies and programs. I planning to pursue my study this coming june here in cebu to finish my dream career and at the same time to continue the student leadershp i have started.

Looking forward for your favorable response regading this matters!

    Respectfully yours,

    Ruben S. Josol

  2. Nice post. Thanks for sharing. I hope that preventative measures can be put in place soon. One thing that can be done which costs nothing is each individual take responsibility for their garbage and put it where it belongs instead of throwing it all over the streets, rivers, and everywhere else.
